So exciting to be in the Galapagos! Immediately you see Sea Lions and birds. The city of San Christobal is more urban than I imagined. Many shops and services for a town of 8,000 residents.
Several of us had a Cerviche cooking lesson at a local restuarant. We made it with yellow fin tuna. It was delicious!
That night the whole group dined together. It was a blast and many friendships were made.
The city, and country, was celebrating the Independence of Guayaquil from the Spanish. Music and dancing demonstrations were played near the town center.
