We left the beautiful Inti Punku resort for Cuzco via a tour of the Sacred Valley on a large tour bus. We visited Chinchero and the PARWA Centre, to appreciate the colourful traditional textiles with another demonstration. Next, we visited the church of Chinchero before heading to the Racchi panoramic viewpoint for a fantastic view across the valley. We headed back to Ollantaytambo and its Inca fortress.
A steep set of stairs built for the Sun God. The stones were actually quarried at a different mountain and manually carried to the top of the monument.
Later we stopped for lunch and 'Boleto Turisitco' surrounding sights. Due to a religious parade in one of the cities, we had to detour on perilious gravel cliff roads to Cuzco. There were so many huge buses and only centimeters between them as we went our way.
